I buy my gas from the same place and the car has not been modified. I was getting 36 mpg but within the last month, I am down to 34.5. I do not hot rod around and most of the driving is highway. My 2001 Focus (Zetec engine) is getting terrible gas mileage in my opinion. (It has about 133000 kms which is almost 83000 miles) I bought the car this past summer. Done no maintenance to it yet and have no records of what (if anything) was done before I bought it.
